With our preoccupation with wiring rather than railway modelling Bob decides some flashy LED's on the control panel are the order of the day. In fact it is on the plan...
The insertion of the dock end section control indicator light will hopefully go some way to ease the frustration associated with running the dock. The light shows if the main control panel or the dock panel has power over the section. It should solve all the who's driving what arguments.
Excited by the concept of indication we decide to expand this idea to the isolation sections and wire indicators to the switches on the main control panel.
Flash or what.... it's starting to look like we know what were doing..
Secondary to this activity Bob pulls from his back (that should be bag... Sorry Bob your not the Quasimodo of Electronics as suggested) the new power supply. In the interest of recycling and railway modelling on the cheap he's using an old PC power supply.

On that note that's more than enough work for tonight, shall we have a pint!
