Baseboard alignment dowels

To ensure accurate alignment of the baseboards, the boards were manually aligned and drilled; a pair of bolts secured with wing nuts were inserted.



A second pair of pilot holes were then drilled before separating the two halves. These holes were then enlarged and C & L Baseboard Alignment dowels inserted.

Using these dowels to align the baseboards means that the boards can be easily separated and joined without fuss.
